Mount Baker Theatre’s 99th Season Lineup Announced
Last week, the Mount Baker Theatre (MBT) unveiled its 2025-2026 season lineup. Look forward to Broadway hits like Mrs. Doubtfire and The Book of Mormon, music from Booker T. Jones and I’m With Her, plus storytelling and films. There’s something for everyone! 🎭️🎼
“We’re incredibly proud to share our 99th Season, another dynamic year of world-class performances at Mount Baker Theatre,” said Executive Director John Purdie II. “We have curated exceptional options for everyone, from beloved classics to bold new experiences.”
MBT Members get exclusive access to the season with an early presale starting Wednesday, July 23 at 10 am. MBT’s 2025–2026 season will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, July 30 at 10 am. Join the MBT, or review upcoming shows.
In other news…
🐟️ Things are about to get messy on I-5 north of Lake Samish. Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced the start of the Lake & Chuckanut Creeks – Fish Passage project which will improve “stream connectivity for unnamed tributaries to Lake Creek, and Chuckanut Creek along a 6-mile stretch of Interstate 5.”
Southbound traffic will be routed to a median bypass, causing lane closures and slowdowns, with a 50 mph advisory speed. This is due to culvert removal and replacement work through July. By August, traffic will return to normal, but in the meantime, give yourself a little extra time and drive safely! More about this project.
🏊️ Bellingham Parks and Recreation posted this weekend that starting today “lifeguards will be stationed at Bloedel Donovan Park from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. (weather dependent).”
